It's a legitimate question.

You'll note that it's also the FAQ section.

How does my post regarding a specific caliper-related issue constitute a frequently asked question? I searched prior to posting, and didn't find anything that sounded remotely similar to my case. Don't the moderators read the entire thread content prior to moving it?

Perhaps my only mistake was not having posted originally in the Brakes/Suspension section instead of the General Evo area.

I saw your reply, and thanks. But, I feel the post still doesn't fall under FAQ status. I posted my reply to you there - and you should see why. Anyway, I don't really care to argue this point any further, but sometimes I get the impression that threads are moved without proper review.

At first glance, I didn't think your post was FAQ material, but I don't read the Evo sections on a daily basis. The moderators are fairly well read in their respective sections and see dozens and sometimes hundreds of duplicated threads. You'll notice it more as you spend more time here, as well. If enough of a certain question gets asked, it tends to fall into FAQ territory.

Moderators are tasked with quickly deciding if something stays or goes. There is no peer review or consensus. So, sometimes a mistake is made, sometimes a thread goes unnoticed, but I'd say our accuracy is pretty good. Thanks for understanding.
