I was reading through the Evo Engine / Turbo / Drivetrain last night and noticed the many different kinds of turbo threads... It'd be nice if someone could put together some type of organized encyclopedia/dictionary for the different kinds of turbos. And with some turbos having several nicknames, it gets confusing (EvoGreen / 20g-LT for example). When I see a term like 20g-LT, I ask myself, "What's the reasoning behind the name? What does it refer to?"

Someone broke down the nomenclature of a turbo's name nicely like so, which was really helpful in understanding the name:

GT = This means this
35 = So and so
R = So forth

Searching works too, but I think it'd be really helpful if all this knowledge was consolidated into one sticky and plus, incorrect information is commonly mixed into the equation of correct information.

Just a suggestion.

 

Go for it. We, the staff, love user submitted tech articles, compilations of information and submissions for features. Ultimately the Admins will be the ones saying yay or nay, but that's the kind of community-minded input that helps the site grow.

And we're kinda lazy/busy.

Another thing we have considered adding to the site would be a Wiki for user supplied content and resources. This would be perfect for these types for things

You don't have to compile anything. If you find information that you find to be particularly useful and worthy of sticking, let the appropriate staff members know. That's all.
