I stand behind my work 100% and offer a satisfaction promise. If the customer is not happy with what I do they simply dont have to pay.

In this case apparently the customer was questioning why he could not have his old custom tuned map from a previous set up and there was some mis communication.

My policy has been and always was posted from day one to give FREE BASE MAPS to all customers who have been custom tuned. I made that policy in part to help customers avoid the need to incur additional expenses.

While the customer may have been confused as to the policy that is my error in failing to communciate my policy clearly enough to him.

As for some of these other haters, I have tuned many thousands of cars in the last 5 years and dealth with people all over the USA from end to end, I try my best to offer a fair service at a faor price and pride myself in doing the best job I can.

If someone does not care for their experience here then they dont have to pay the bill and can leave without paying the bill.

A vast majoriety of my customers are returning ones who have had a very good result with our work and who are satisfied and will return.

While it is impossible to please everyone I try the best way I can to do the best I can

If the guy with the original post thread is not happy he can come back here and I will remove my tunes and refund him 100%

Thanks

Al

every time a discussion comes up that is negative about you, your first response is to let us know about all of these people that you have tuned, and for how long. That doesnt warrant your attitude and disrespectful nature towards people and customers. You can deny that all you want, but if it werent true, you wouldnt see so many posts like this

second point, in my case, i received an eflash from you, pay first, get flash later, i wasnt happy, voiced my opinion several ways. It wasnt the performance, it was the CEL that came on immediately afterwards and the misfire code that took me 3 months to fix. Amazingly enough it was another vendor flash that fixed it. You ignored my PM's my emails....so saying if you arent happy you dont have to pay the bill is nice, when you actually stand behind it.

Hi everyone,

The rules were put in place after experiencing everything from false accounts by competitors to outright fabrications by non customers. Evom holds the poster responsible for his statements. Is that bad? The goal is to find a solution acceptable to the vendor and customer. When it appears the OP has no intention of resolving the issue, just using Evom as leverage for revenge, we will probably remove the post.

And the other reason is the bandwagon, flag waving knuckleheads who have zero interest in the problem, just a chance to hammer a vendor. You can thank them for many thread removals as they choke a review thread with meaningless comments.

Please follow this link to the sticky in the vendor review forum:

And moving to our feedback forum.

Will you be doing a group refund? If, so, I would like my money back. You would have known how unhappy I was with my Flash, except you would not return my calls or emails.

If a member has a review about bad customer service with a vendor, even a paying vendor, the whole community should be able to know about it (and comment on it). This is why we have forums, so we can exchange info, help each other and help others not waste money on sh!tty products/service/etc.

By closing this thread, you show the community you care more about a vendor's vendor fee payment then the community and have basically lost all sight of why you started this forum.
Read Speedlimits response above. That is primarily why I closed it. Another reason is the OP had his question answered and further "discussion" by those not involved pretty much trashed the thread.

Al, I'm in no way trying to bash your work or anything like that. I know you have done big things and made big power. We also know you have, at times, had a bad additude and cussed at people, not just people but customers. Everyone can have a bad day, miscommunication, whatever, but I think cussing at a customer is never called for (unless he starts it )

I dont care if the thread was about you, BR, vishnu, jestr, ttp, etc. Im just trying to say that thread like that should be left open so it can help use pick between all you guys.

The fact that a vendor wants threads that contain bad reviews closed, says a lot. There have been countless threads about Dynoflash that have been closed. I think that is BS. A good and honest vendor should let those threads remain open..especially if they helped their customer out in the end..

First off: I closed the thread on my very own......Nobody PM'd me or pressured me in any way. Second: I am a fair and impartial Moderator. You'd best do some research and have the facts before you go around slinging outright lies and assumptions.

You should also do research before calling me a liar or making assumptions about what you think I said.
I never questioned your ability to moderate this forum. Also, I did not say anything about the thread which the OP was talking about.

Dynoflash has a vendor forum and I ask that you move the side bar discussions to that forum.

I answered the OP's question by referring to the stickies in the vendor review forum. There is really nothing else to add. Disagreeing with the policy is fine. But I would also argue that anyone who takes the time, can research any vendor here and make an intelligent purchase decision. The information is here. That the vast majority of Evom vendor customers are satisfied on a daily basis. That Evom vendor's would rank high compared to a peer review of comparable vendors across the country. That Evom has a commercial guy (CharlesJ) who spends an unbelievable amount of time trying to help both members and vendors.

And regardless of Evom's actions or in-actions relative to vendors, businesses do not remain long if they consistently deliver poor service and defective products. Not with the internet today. To somehow suggest Evom's removing or locking a thread has shielded a vendor's 3 to 15 years of crummey service from the world is ludicrous. Thanks.

Thread closed.
