Special cases

If a member is has been a member for a long time but doe snot post that often and wants to sell then the post limit should be voided, as long as they have shown participation. I want to sell my car here but I dont have 50 post so I just think it should be lifted in certain cases

I disagree. A year and a half with 42 on-topic posts (50 total) is not participation. While post whoring is not allowed or encouraged, a little contribution to the forum is not too much to ask, IMO.

Sprry, there are no exceptions to the rule. If we made exceptions, we would receive numerous requests for this, and where do we draw the line. 50 post rule helps to cut down dramatically on scammers, and ensures that those that benefit from the free use of this site and the for sale section or contributing members of this community. You are very close, and it should be a problem.

Just for anyone reading this, post whoring to 50 is not allowed and is an infraction. The rule is there for good reason, so just follow it. On that note, thread closed
