nope... still dont see the chat room. Are u referring to a forum cuz that isnt a chat room. but maybe I am missing the chat room. If I am please tell me where its at.

I guess I didn't notice it either. But it's been taken off due to the fact basically none of the members here use it.

I tried a few times, but could never get the script to run. Oh well, I suppose we're doomed to a life without real-time conversation via our keyboards.

Yeah I use other forums for other stuff and their chat rooms always hae people in it. Maybe ur chat room wouldnt work on everybodys computer. .02

 

yea, me and some other members here suggested posting the chat room link on the front page since a lot of people just look at the recently replied threads and dont go into different sections.

there would be a lot more people using the chat if it were easier to get to..just a suggestion

and i think it would take a load off the forums, the mods wont have to go through as many threads and stuff..so yea. thats what i had to say

 

I'm not an admin, but I'm regularly on irc.sportscarweb.com and idle there a lot. I'll join up in #evo for a while. Maybe we can keep a regular group in there.

 

we need chat here.

think about it, we could have meetings certain nights for the different regions, easier discussion of recent posts, etc etc. and last but not least...

We had a chat room. It never got used. A few members have created fnet channels. They never got used.

 

There's no point to them anyway. Same **** here on the forums and AIM. You still do the same thing, "chat." Only difference between the forums and chatrooms is that your messages count and the responses aren't as quick as pressing Enter.

We had it before as Andrew said, but it wasn't hardly used. Only time I went in there was when the Jersey people were in staying into the wee hours in the morning. But that was all the way back in February.

Bottom line it still won't work. Time passes and it'll get old. And more and more people will just rather post in the forums then in chatrooms.

 

1. i think with the huge growth of the site and the fact that there are always at least 100 ppl on the forums, a big visible link from the homepage would make for a fun chat.

2. the only problem with the room is it isn't logged and no information will be shared with ppl outside of the chat room.


3. jersey used to rep' hard in the room. i'd use it again.
