i cant believe ppl are crying about scrolling down a little further, have we become that lazy? the way its setup makes sense, fastest to slowest(stock of course).

 

Ill have to admit I did forget about the minimize button, but I do hate having to scroll down now when before I would just see the EVO1-9 sections right when the page loaded.

It bugs, but I do understand EVOm's side as well. I just wish you guys would have waited for more X owners to pop up before doing the change.

BTW: Minimize is a great function if you keep cookies in your browser. I don’t so bla.

And in response to other posts, I'm honestly thrilled I can customize the board. For whatever reason I was under the impression those preferences would revert as soon as I came back (don't ask me why). This is great, now I can actually see only the boards I'm interested in and not accidentally click on the wrong show & shine, etc.

As for the Lancer forums...I won't criticize too much cus I know they're highly populated, but the site IS called EvolutionM.net (not LancerXYZ). It makes sense that not everyone wants to look at stock Lancers with Evo wings, but oh well, to each his own.

 

Here's a question...will we ever see the X's merged with the VIII's and IX's? Forgive my ignorance, I'm not sure if we've ever had separate VIII and IX forums, but it would seem odd mixing in the X with all the others.

The name of the website has been altered because there are far more professional vendors and tuners interested in the Lancer Evolution platform (and no doubt also because the original EvoM owner, Mark, purchased an Evo once they hit the US). That does not mean that this website is only about the turbo trim level.

Also, I've owned two Lancers, neither of which was stock with an Evo wing. So I really don't think your holier-than-thou, I'm-so-cool-because-I-can-afford-an-Evo bulls*** is very funny. I'm so sorry that it takes every extra penny I have to afford an econobox. I was unaware that us poor people were so pathetic and not worth your time.

No, the X will never be merged. They're different cars, so they get different forums. Just like how the Lancer Ralliart will always be separate from the Lancer ES/LS/OZ.

The new ralliart will take over the old ralliart section. All old ralliart stuff is going in the regular lancer section (using separate subsections where there are differences)

 

No, they are simple too different. The X section will expand to probably include at least the X-XII, but maybe longer. It will include all built on a similar engine/chassis platform.

As mentioend, the ralliart will be separate not so much because they are veryy different, but because the owners will demand separation
