Marketplace resloved thread section
Marketplace resloved thread section
Make a new section in marketplace so you can move all of the resolved (all items sold/bought/traded etc.) threads into it, kind of like an archive. This way it doesnt clutter up the marketplace area & you don't go into a thread, see something is for sale, get excited, then have it already bought.
I don't think it would take much moderating ability to manage this either.
If you need someone I'm always availible, I'm not expecting it though since I'm new to the forums.

We kinda let resolved threads just fade away, so if someone asks about an item FS from 2006, chances are it's sold.
Seriously, if a person still has an item FS, they usually have no problem bumping it to the top to keep the interest. Perhaps we can cap interest on items at 15 or 30 days?? I don't really know; I'll let the Marketplace Mods step in here with opinions.

if you really think about it this is a very tall task
for a few reasons...
1. there are tons of private f/s-wtb-wtt threads
2. not all the OP's edit their posts to say sold
originally on iwsti.com you were able to edit your own thread titles only in the member gallery and private for sale forum
that's always an option if the forum is capable of it and the high powers think it might be helpful

It should be possible for the original poster to delete or close his own thread. That way the mods wouldnt have to worry about closing them, and the op wouldnt get PMs about an item sold a month age. Because alot of times even if we put sold at the top, we get the people who look at the last post and never read the first. Just my opinion.
