Just a thought, not sure if it was already thought of....but how about a forum where people can post WTB ads specifically for the Vendors.


Example:


I need a timing belt tool, and I am i not sure where to look, so i post it in the Vendor WTB forum and the Vendors can scan the WTB ads without having to fish through all the people who are looking for used parts.

Only Vendor status users can post replies in this forum. If you need a Mod for this I can be helpful in that sense. I am on here EVERYDAY anyways.......

Whatever vendors are on here... can't you just go look through their website for whatever you want to buy?

 

We have discussed this several times, and the problem that comes out is two things. Once....its a free for all battle amongst aggressive vendors and a second problem is that it invites non vendors to PM you. Its a nice idea, but the reality just doesn't work unfortunately. If you are looking for something not in the vendor classifieds, jsut look for who may carry it and contact them via PM

 

I think with some simple research you can find the correct vendor to inquire with on certain parts.
