Thumbs up a couple great forum ideas!!!

there is only 2 things about evom that bothers me, 1 is in the classifieds section you should have to post a price for something you are selling because its just takes longer to go through with the whole thing, if i dont know how much it is i send the person a pm wait for a response and other bs or i see how much it is right in the thread and know its too much and i dont even bother. Or i see a price thats super cheap i get a great deal and the seller gets a quick sale, if you dont know how much you want why even post it? 2nd in the forums if there is a pic in the thread you should have a camera icon, just like the above statements, if i see something i have never heard of and want to see it and i click aand there is no pic its a waste of time especially for selling things that are both performance upgrades and looks so you know if you should even try and work something out rather then guess and wait for an email of a pic if you even get one. thats just my two cents based on my experience with other awesome forums, if anyone doesent agree with me please state your reason. thanks you for reading my rant!!

you sound a little lazy you should always pm someone before sending any money anyway, so does it really matter if they don't post a price? you aren't gonna pay but so much anyway, so send him a message.

I don't think they can do what you are saying. they all ready have an icon when a pic is attached to a thread, but linking a pic is different and that's how most people post in the FS section.

at this point it doesn't really matter anyway, because you aren't allowed to post in those forums yet anyway. any transactions you are interested in would have to be through PM

welcome to the forums

Its not being lazy, he is correct. when you look at 2 different peoples parts for sale. 1 guy has it for a decent deal but the other has no price, of course you want to know what his price is. then you PM him. no response for like 3 days. At that time he responds with a price to HIGH or an ITS SOLD!! Then the other guy sold his already and you are screwed.

I don't care if there is a price outside the thread name like where you see the picture icon, but think it should be mandatory on the inside. Same with vendors. I hate asking for parts shipped to my zip code. Its a car salesmen trick to make them test drive a car by not telling them the price on the sticker or over the phone.

If they dont list a price then mods should delete.

you guys should read more, this issue has been discussed lately seems to me if you don't like something about a for sale ad don't buy it. it's solely the sellers choice whether or not to publicize his current price. it would be easier if he posted it in the OP, but it should not be required.

this is not a for sale site, the FS forums are there for our use but that's not the purpose of this site, why would you expect the moderators to force all the users to act like this is Ebay? they don't even ASK the vendors to post prices, let alone force them...

Yes, prices should be posted (in the private section). But if someone doesnt post a price, they wont get a response unless you give it to them. If people dont get a response from not posting a price, then they will learn to post a price.

On the picture note, I am not sure vbulletin has the ability to recognize non attached pictures. Would have to check
