More and more people only come here to sell their stuff. Many newbie (probably e-bay sellers of some sort) register then try to sell on there first post. Here are 2 exemples out of many many more.

I was wondering if it would be possible to disable the selling function for those members under 10 or 20 posts?

While I see your point, I think that would penalize many members who don't deserve it. Some may not have on topic posts (and therefore no post count) or some may just be lurkers who don't feel they need to contribute.
That first sale is the worst for sale thread I've ever seen though.
Oh, and there's probably another solution. I doubt it'll be at the top of the priority list, but maybe Mark will be willing to make a change down the line.
