Board Yearbook
The "Post Pictures of Yourself" forum in OT isn't cutting it. We should have a source to look to when we think "You know...I wonder what so-and-so looks like..."
I got this idea from another messageboard, it's a pretty unique idea though. Basically all it is is just a seperate page with a link on the main board (possibly up with the buttons like calendar and User CP?) which has the members' user names and pictures compiled together to form a yearbook. It doesn't even have to be directly part of the board, it could be remotely hosted or whatever (but of course moderated). Here is an example of what I mean: http://users.bigpond.net.au/mgorham/.../yearbook.html
The yearbook could be updated semi-anually or quarterly all at once, meaning no additions between updates. All we would need is somebody with web design experience to volunteer to put up the pictures when it comes time to update. A certain post count should be required to get into the yearbook, so only dedicated evom members are in it.
Besides, it would be a lot of work with the huge amount of members here.
Please consider this idea! It could be very useful, and lots of fun. I've attached a pole to see how much interest there is.

I hate to break it to you, but most of you aren't graduating.
Seriously though, if Mark is interested in coding this there will probably be a serious restriction on image size (similar to avatars) to avoid using too much server space, and users may want to do what they can to not give up too much personal information as well.
Anywho, I like the idea, but that don't mean it's gonna happen.

an Indexed picture thread would be a good idea tho, almost impossible to find anything in the Post Pics of Yourself thread, and the Member galleries are not widely-used, and not terribly easy to navigate.
