Why would EvoM allow.....

Why would EvoM allow people running scams to advertise on EvoM?

I cant believe that there is an advertisement for one of those "run your car on water" scams here.

In addition to praying on people hoping for relief to rising gas prices, clicking on their banner puts you into pop up nightmare.

It's a google ad lol. It could be random or whoever sets up the ads could have specifically picked that one because it makes $$$

To answer your condescending question, Evom would not knowingly allow scammers to advertise here. Those ads, apparently, are part of a package of thousands of ads delivered by Google world wide. Once and a while a really outlandish claim will slip through. Did you buy one of those gizmo's to run your car on water?

That's Google AdSense, EvoM doesn't choose what ads go in it, Google tailors it as they see fit.

Hey Ivan,

Google ads are common thing runned on all sites not just EvoM (nasioc runs them as well as others). As other members have already posted, google controls the advertisers as well as who gets displayed based on content. My suggestion to you is if you got scammed by an ad being displayed by Google, I would report them to google so they can remove them as a advertiser.

Also I would think that being an employee for AMS Performance (who is a vendor here), you would know how much we interact with existing vendors and how much we try to make sure we don't allow scammers on our site. It's not always easy but we do try our best. In the future if there is an issue, I would appreciate a PM first before you blame us publicly.

I know that EvoM holds the highest standards of conduct and I was a bit confused as to how an ad like that made its way to the site. I am not familiar with running a forum or how advertising is being sold and did not know that the ad was being generated by Google. The question was answered in the thread and I appreciate it. My issue lies with Google and not EvoM.

I personally have not been scammed by this type of advertiser. I was intrigued by the concept and did a lot of research into what they are selling and how it is supposed to work and there is resounding proof that none of it works.

My intentions were to find out why the ad was up and hopefully keep others from being scammed out of money for something that just does not work.

I apologize for the way it came across.
