Yeah, pretty much. Some sigs are cluttered enough as it is, we don't need pics or graphics to make the problem worse.

Images also compound the issue of work appropriate images in posts and avatars. Frankly, more trouble than they're worth, with the additional feature of slowing bandwidth, particularly for our dialup users.

People still use dial up ? i don`t think such a thing exists anymore

~10% of the US is still on dial-up, due to cost, availability, and/or apathy.

Even if there were no dial up, we still wouldn't want the pics in sigs, for the other reasons HobieKopek listed.
