forgive me if this is a dead horse, but why is there no mandatory price posting rule in the classifieds? i see threads with sellers saying things like "dont expect me to give a price, just make an offer." seems like a really frustrating and difficult way of buying and selling things. every other forum i visit has this rule in place, and the classifieds sections are very very efficient.

IIRC because if sellers want to make their items less appealing, it's their problem. I know the topic has come up and the question has been asked, but I honestly cannot remember the answer.

 

I think we're pretty much of the opinion that if the seller doesn't list a price and the members don't like it: don't reply to the ad. I'm sure they'll get the message.
