As the title says...No subscribed thread updates have been e-mailed for the last couple of days. Problems? I know my e-mail system is working okay, so no issues there.

 

Yeah, I don't think we're quite sure yet what's going on. We're having the same issue receiving our staff oriented e-mails.

We have learned that there's been a large jump in spam across the internet lately, and service providers have tightened up their spam filters. There's a chance that we're getting caught up in that, but we're really not sure at this point.

 

If the server was moved (which the mods are pretty vehement that it wasn't, but I'm thinking it really was), then the SMTP server will need to be changed since the old one likely won't relay for the new server.

I mean, it's not like I do this for a living or anything

 

The server hasn't moved. This is fact.

 

It will be months before a server move.

I verified my spam folder for the last few days and there are no emails from evom. This is a yahoo account.

 

normal account and no spam removed on mine also .. I thought it was just me or someone hated me from EvoM

It caught me off guard, that's for sure 12 PMs and no emails... it was a really pleasant surprise actually. I'm definitely not looking forward to when it picks back up or catches up and 3018942 past notifications invade my inbox

 

Glad I found this thread. I've been trying to figure out what went wrong w/ thread notification emails for 2 days...

 

I haven't seen email posted at all for a few days. Also, this weekend (Saturday), I couldn't get to your site at all...most of the day. This is like the third or fourth time easily during a weekend that I can't get to your site. "page can not be displayed" message. I can get to other sites...no problem.

Not sure if your ISP (hosting service) is doing maintenance or what....but from Pittsburgh....can't get to the site at all sometimes.

 

Same no-emails problem here with a Google Apps-hosted domain, just as a small data point. Nothing showing up in the spam folder.

 

Just wondering if there's any problems...
I'm using hotmail.. and had no problem whatsoever until few days ago.
