censorship

It's disheartening to know that when you have negative issues to discuss about a SPONSORING VENDOR in these forms, that the threads wil be deleted, by people other than the one who starts it.

It wasn't my post, but I've recently ordered from the company he was *****ing about, and I had the same experience with the same company. His complaint was legit as far as I was concerned because the things he mentioned happened to me. It's BS because I've seen hating on other tuners/vendors who don't sponsor this board and those posts never get erased.

Also, you were right about t3, they f'ed the emanage install. was down at pruven today, and they couldn't get any readings on the computer because the wiring is wrong. I'm rescheduling with pruven so they can do it right. Another day and $240 down the drain!!

communism is alive and well in america. accept the possibility the sysop could have "customized" any message to be more "aligned" with the wishes of an advertiser. now you have taken one step away from gullibility and one step towards reality.

PS the offending VENDOR is VIVID RACING, who even to this date REFUSES to return calls. EVEN when there called in to DAN'S personal #. And I wasn't the one who was complaining in the first place, I was just backing the person up who was, and letting everyone know that it wasn't an isolated incident.

long story short. I tried calling 4 times (long distance) no luck. 2 emails no luck, and on the 5th long distance call I finally got a tracking # for my order. These calls were placed over the course of 4 days, I was not asking for something that wasn't there. I was even told by a human, I believe his name is John at the tracking dept, that he would call me back, never happened. Then to top it all off, they mailed half of my shipment out with a signature required for delivery, something they never told me about. I of course am not home during the course of the day, and the receiver must sign for the package in person. So that order had to go back to VIVID. And I've yet to recieve a return phone call regarding that issue either. Yes I've called Dan and the tracking dept. And NO I haven't recieved a return call yet. To tell you the truth, I'm not expecting one either. I'll just have the BBS deliver the message for me

yeah man, i want to hear the dirt. the only reason there should be any change to this thread is a move to OT maybe, but other than that, sometimes these things need to be heard.

of course, you have to understand KK's point of view, in that the vendors here won't want to stay here if they are openly and permanently bashed. people will be loud as all get out when something goes wrong, but much to quiet when it all goes right. of course, this would be a non-issue if they simply conducted business at they should.

I do not "bash" vendors, this particular company is doing it to themselves. They even know there is a problem. They've addressed the issue in a post earlier on this forum. I followed they're posted protocol still to no avail. If they don't want people to write about they're bad experiences, they should return customer phone calls so the problems don't fester.

IMO the moderators should allow people that have had problems with vendors to post their problems so that the rest of us know what to expect when dealing with these vendors. I guess that hte important thing is to make sure we don't "bash" them, but rather that we do so kindly, if that makes sense. If we work this right we can keep the post up until VIVID does something about the problem or as a result boycott them, regardless of the effects to this forum. Simply put, if worse comes to worse and they kick us off the forum, we can all find a new forum. It's kind of funny because I don't agree with it, but the customer is right, and they should come first, just make sure that both stories are heard before any carzy measures are taken.

Could you at least try to post in the proper forum please?

Moving to site feedback and suggestions.

EDIT: Ok, now it's time to read the complaint.
