I hear what you are saying, but making a change in our format would be a big job and it would take a considerable amount of time and resources to implement. I really don't see a problem with our current format and I think that folks have become familiar with it and can more easily navigate it "as is".

This is the tightest, possibly best moderated forum I have been on. As a long time Porsche guy, I still use Pelican Parts a lot, but you guys have it right in so many respects where they don't quite get it. My only complaint is that page load times seem pretty laggy here. Might want to bring it up with your site hoster.
