I would love to see an easy to use EvoM Iphone App. , anyone with me?

 

We don't even have a functioning mobile site, so I wouldn't expect this to happen, unless a user takes it upon themselves.

Yeah the mini browser just does not do it for me . It shoud work like the criags list app
built in seach and IM. I don't find myself wanting to browse Evom on 2.5 inch screen using mini safari.

 

Maybe we could get like 5 dollar donations from everyone and have it developed.

 

That or charge $5 or $10 dollars for the app after it's made.

 

You would need to coerce the vBulletin team to write an application that can interface with the databases in a more streamlined manner. EvoM is a fairly straightforward vBulletin site and nobody on our staff is going to spend hundreds/thousands of man hours developing an application for a moving target.

 

There are other sites running VBulletin and they have code optimized for mobile or iPhones.

as great as the iphone is... this is one thing that really makes it undesirable.

get a storm or an env touch.. the ~1.2m average speeds are a nice upgrade as well from the ~700k averages with my iphone... stupid at&t n apple n their contracts grrrr

 

My storm does EvoM nicely.... No problem there.

 

Well..... I am very happy with the iPhone . All we need to do is have the mods sign up

My iphone works fine with evom on safari, but with how well some of these apps work for forums, it would be cool.
Actually I would be happy if I could respond to posts or PM by email instead of having to log in each time when using my phone.

 

Yeah, don't get me wrong it works good , great even but there is always better!
I just want an app the is opitmized for a small screen. That would make it easy
(texting easy).

I access EvoM more by iphone than by computer, so I'm all for improvements in this area!
