If it can be found in the owner's manual...
Should a thread be deleted or closed in which a member asks a question that can be answered via the owner's manual?
I've noticed many times where a thread is started and the answer is in the owner's manual. These threads seem to go nowhere and aren't really of any value to the community. They take up space and make searching for good content even harder.
Yay or nay?

Perhaps a small amendment to the rules? The one rule that talks about doing a "search" before posting could be amended to add in the idea that one should also "search" their owner's manual for the answer before posting (in addition to searching this forum before posting).
Just a thought

Thanks guys. Agreed that people likely still won't search, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to put it in the rules so there is a point of reference if you guys ever needed to use it to close a thread.

I've added the blurb in the rules to also check your owners manual.
