I think we should have MP5's trick daddy *** run things. Also is there any way we could upload maps and stuff? That would be super cool.

Ok, so which engine management systems should we cover? I think the most popular should receive a forum and we can have a misc forum for any other system that may not be covered. The ones off the top of my head are:

- AEM EMS
- Apex-i Power FC
- Autronics
- Greddy E-Manage
- Vishnu XEDE

I think we could use the attachement feature for map uploads... just need to know what most systems file sizes would be.

That looks pretty good so far, If there is anything else I guess you can add that later. Now I will not have to go through so much BS to get here. Also what about adding a Dyno chart upload? Or we can just do that inside of the groups.

We should have a other or EM general if possible to include all the other ECM tricks/ monitoring/ pocket logger review/help, and the reflash people could post.

For the record, EMS maps are pretty small at less than 1kb if memory serves me correctly. I'll double check on my laptop in a few, but I know you can fit a ton on a floppy and all the attached posts on the AEM forums say "0kb" on the attachments.

EDIT: Their attachment file size is just not working I guess. The maps are around 20kb a piece...much smaller than most pics so I can't see them being a problem.

Forums are now up:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/fo...?s=&forumid=98

They're currently under a new category called Evo Engine Management / Tuning Forums. That forum is closed so only topics will go in the specific engine management forums. That should help avoid confusion as to where to post like we had with the original tech forum layout a little while ago.

Mark, I totally appreciate the effort to get this going. Ghostrider and I had asked Hobie about it months ago. Will there be a US Lancer and RalliArt section (or similar forums in the respective groups)? Or can the tuning forum be moved (since they're all still young) out of Evo Tuning and into a tuning group of its own? Lack of info is a key factor when I decide to NOT do something- even though I went ahead and bought an eManage anyway .

thanks man

Mark's busy, but you can't say he isn't one to get things done.

You guys were the originators of the suggestion (at least as far as I'm aware), but I do have to give credit to MP5 for being the most vocal about it.
