Moving Evo post to Off Topic?

Whats up with always moving Evo related subjects to "Off Topic" even when they fit here better? Nothing better to do? Irritating as F*$@

Header here says,
Discuss any general Evo related topics that may not fit into the other forums listed above.

Header there says,
"Talk about daily events, or other items not really related to the Lancer in any way"

I personally never go sifting through the "Off Topic " section because I don't like reading topics about recipes, whats sexy, Getn it on from Da back, etc..

How is I love this car (Evo), etc. off topic?

I agree. I started a topic about married 30+ people using this car as a daily driver and their opinions on it. It was extremely popular and blew up to over 3 pages in the first hour I posted it. It got moved to off topic. Now it's dead. THis is the "evo general" forum and that was a general evo discussion. Off topic is for talking about strippers, farting, video games, smoking weed, etc. Why are valid Evo discussions being moved there????

I think the moderator needs some monitoring.

Yeah, I am getting tired of putting a post and then having to go hunting for it. It seems a little **** for a message forum.

Which threads were those?

"Which lowering springs to get?" should have been in Tire/Suspension/Brakes...

"SoCal shops for maintenance or tuning" should have been in the West Region forums...

"Need brake pads for my evo" should have been in Tire/Suspension/Brakes...

Those are the only 3 new threads by you lately. All appear to be in the correct places.

mojo, are you wondering why this thread was moved?

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=47744

I moved that one because street racing/kills posts do not belong in Evo General. Off Topic (or the Trash) is where they'll be moved to. I thought everyone knew that by now.

As for the other posts, I don't know for sure but I would guess they were moved because the discussions turned Off Topic.

The specific one I referred to was "I love this car" . Topic Evo. How does that or many others that were moved belong with the trash?

Grow up guys. The Mods on this site don't move threads because it is happy fun time. We don't move them because of some sort of power trip.

We only move threads when we think they do not belong where they were originally posted. That is part of what we are asked to do as Mods. And this decision is not made by reading a formula. It is not made because a moderator does not like you. It is made because it is the moderators opinion that the thread does not belong where you put it.

Complaining on the board this topic will do nothing to change this fact.

If you have a problem with where a thread was moved to, please feel free to click on the 'report this thread to a moderator' or just email a Mod. If you have sound reasoning as to why something belongs in the General forum and not where it was moved to, we might just move it back for you.

SC~
