Quotes and pictures

If there is one thing that I absolutely must gripe about this forum, it is the practice of quoting a post containing 2,3-6 images, just to say: "Nice car!" at the bottom. Thereby multiplying the length of the thread, making me scroll through photos that I've already seen. Its pointless and irritating...

Therefore my suggestion to the forum would be, a code change that strips the [IMG] tags from quotes, so that Joe Schmo won't inflate the Show and Shine forum anymore.

So the next thing is: What about proper usage of quoting images? I would argue that if you need to quote an image, you should have to do it manually, find the URL and add it to your post. If you really need to duplicate the image on a thread in your post, you should do it deliberately and without such ease.

To moderators: sorry If this comes off as disrespectful, but its been "grinding my gears" since I've joined this forum. As I really enjoy browsing threads with photographs.

Please report those type of posts. Even if the user gives a nice comment, we can at least clear up the big image quote part.

^ I'm really glad you got the Family Guy reference there at the end.

I'll be happy to report these posts, but don't you think that is unnecessary work for moderators? Should be a pretty slim bit of code to do this for you.

No, we are happy to help here. I will let an Admin weigh in on the coding change idea.

It also helps out the users who frequent on their phones. There's nothing I hate more than waiting 3 times as long just to see the same pictures quoted multiple times.
