I just joined the AVSForum.com and noticed two really neat features it would be awesome to have here.

The first was a feature that when you created a new thread and started typing in the subject line, a window would apear directly above with "Similar searches" as you are typing. Kind of the way most search engines(google) do when you start typing and that little window expands underneath the field.

The second is their kick-*** iPhone app. It would be so awesome to have an app where you can be logged in and view your subscribed threads and browse the forum. After I registered with them and received the confirmation email on my iPhone, I clicked the link and it popped up a window asking if you wanted to download their app. Very cool.

Just thought i'd put it out there for you guys incase you were interested in checking it out. Cya!

 

Hi and thank you for the suggestion. I checked the AVS website and they are using the same version of VBulletin, so I assume it's a plugin. I do know that anything associated with searching can be large resource drain. I'll get more info on the plugin . As far as the Iphone app, it is my understanding that IB is working on an app. I'll try to get an update. Thanks.
