Wow..... first of all when you post something about a conflict of interest like them taking bribes, have proof because otherwise you look like a Jack**s trying to stir up a commotion. Not saying it's true or not. Second, truthfully, this is Mark's forum not yours, not mine, not the mods, it's Marks, and if Mark ever even WANTED to take a bribe from any vendor to have special priveleges he has EVERY right to, and if he wants to extend that right onto a mod that is their RIGHT. As a user of a FREE, yeah that's right FREEEEE, forum with mods donating 100% of their time here, I can't believe how much you people want to complain. If you want a board free of vendor sway start your own. This place needs to keep the servers running and bandwidth up, if you want to donate all the money for it I'm sure Mark would be overjoyed and probably let you have extra reign.

I love this place, I actually APPRECIATE the time that they have put in to this place, and I don't care about seeing a random Al Vs. The World thread because
1) They are actually kind of funny
2) No one is forcing you to read them

Personally I don't understand why you think the mods are soooooo unfair. So far they have been pretty spot on regarding silencing people.
There was only one notable exception that appeared to be an abuse of power. There was someone who suggested a cheaper place to purchase certain performance parts for his evo. The mod (who was a vendor) didnt' like that, and proceeded to give a warning for that (which didn't seem to make sense why he did that).
Other then that, they have been IMHO very leaniant to most of the
'holes out there. Be thankful that the mods don't ban you for speaking your mind.... at least not yet... when that happens though.. I am soooo outta this BBoard.
