Evolutionm.net license plate frame...
Good I'm excited. I've had my University of Utah one on since... well for like 4 years at least, so it's falling apart and gross. Time to rock an EvoM one for sure!
Surely someone can produce these with a decent profit. I am sure you could sell these at 5 bucks a pop and still make out like a bandit. Hell, forced performance has black plastic ones with their name on it for a buck a pop, so I know it can be done.
You cant compare a Company selling plate frames for 1$ to an individual selling them either. For them, they are purely promotional and the profit margin from their other products covers production cost and shipping. They definitely are not making much (if any) money off them.
I'm currently being ignored by the admin i was working with, gonna try to get in touch with another.
Negative. At 5 bucks a pop, i would be in the hole pretty quick. Initial cost, frame cost, shipping cost, boxes, packing material, gas to Post office or UPS cost a bit. Not to mention the time involved.

I only speak on this because I've been in a similar situation for another board a bit ago.
Not sure who you're going through, but if you can't get these produced for under 5 bucks a pop (they're plastic for god sakes) then it's time to start looking for another supplier, especially since the more you have made the cheaper you'd get them for. I'm sure with a bulk purchase you'd get a reduced rate and would sell well over a few grand of these easy. Not sure what you had in mind for asking price, but anything over $10 for a plastic frame is gonna reduce the amount of people interested pretty quick.

If it was plastic I was aiming for ~7$ each depending on actual shipping cost. And i know the more i order the better the discount is, but still. I can do 500 right now, in a week more i could do 1000, and it keeps going up as checks come in, but regardless, i still need to wait for permission to do it.
