in your original PM you ask when and why, so i told you. but i started off asking you to remove your sig.... i didn't say if you don't remove your signature, i'll warn you....
I'm not against free speech, so say whatever you like, if it breaks the forum rules....then everyone gets warned...not just you.

Well, don't get me wrong, I do like this site I think it's great and all...but I think the flaming and political BS has to stop. But then again it's the same thing here as it is in life so it's not much different then everyday kind of crap

I think it's just kind of funny that rubelcon was just recently warned for something he said back on the 1st of November. Or am I wrong and was he warned right after he posted the offensive material... IN A THREAD I STARTED!

Ah, maybe you'd consider me an offender, but I'm failing to see the politics. 
Anything we can do to help in general or more clearly explain something I'm sure anyone on the staff would be happy to help you with. If not you can always come to me. I'm a bit slow, but I get things done.
EDIT: As for when you get warned for something...we do try to be prompt. Getting a warning for something a month old may not seem fair, but there's really no difference between calling someone a **** *** a in october and calling them one now. I'm not talking about rubelcon specifically when I say this, but I do think it serves as a good example that when you call someone a name (which shouldn't be difficult to interpret as a breech of the rules) you should expect a warning. We do try to keep as current as possible with our scanning of threads, but keep in mind the relative number of staff to posters and you should understand why we occasionally miss things.

My one point: 3-4 posts later, it says that everything was handled off-line, and we are actually friends now.
When I read into a book, I usually read beyond the cover page and contents...

You could have easily avoided a belated warning by 1. not posting the comment or 2. editing the comment after you resolved the issue.
The point still remains: You break the rules, you get warned.
EDIT: Btw, rubel I obviously don't know you very well, but I hope you understand the examples are meant to be light-hearted, not demeaning.
Not as far as I know. We all keep each other alerted when we have repeated problems with members. I wouldn't even have known you ever caused a problem at all if it weren't for this thread.
