Checking in after a bit and I have a notification that I lost 6K experience points.
Whats that all about?

I'm sorry, but I honestly do not know the specific reason. The system is constantly recalculating points. My only recommendation is to go to your user CP and take a look at the Experience Tab then click on 'Awards'. It will show you several additional tabs including 'Activities' which does list the point additions/subtractions. Thanks.
