Why doesnt Evolutionm.net have a chat room? on www.s2ki.com they have like a java format chat room. we need one of those too

We had one. No one ever used it. It was removed.

It's been asked about so many times before. No one ever uses it. Even if we add it on again, we'll more than likely end up with the same result.

...Yeah, it was kinda crappy. The chat itself was ok, but it was either empty or 90% crap. That was when we had about 3,000 people. Now with 15,000 registered and about 5x the server traffic at any given moment I'm thinking the screen scroll might make people throw up.

 

Has anyone ever thought to originize an irc room? I could set one up on the server i'm usually on (irc.enterthegame.com).

 

I am on like lots of differnt irc servers I would love to have a irc channel to talk about cars and junk.

well if you got 5x the traffic maybe the chat room CAN be reincarnated. It is a hassle to throw it up Mike? I think it would be a cool idea.

If you guys can hold on just a little bit longer, we'll have a chatroom in place soon.

 

the reason no one joined the chat room was because it was not easy to get to or they did not know about it. you had to go into the forums, go to the Chat Room section, then log in and such. if you made a link to the chat room on the home page of EvoM, im sure there will be more people that will be on it.

 

ya i would prob. use it alot just because im always at home, on the pc and rrealy bored. hahaha.
