So I did this on many of my boards and people really liked it. For those who are on the boards all the time I added a chat in the top menu so that they can go into it and talk to the others while trolling the boards during the day. Cuts down on loading amount of posts in random threads and is great for real time communications. Will you be adding one?

Also what about adding Tapatalk to the forums. Its a simple plugin that allows you to read threads on your phone without having to load up the browser and its really fast.

The online chat module is a waste of system resources on a large site, IMO. You get 10 people in it and it's hard to keep up, 20 or 30 and it's nearly impossible. It's also one more thing to moderate for flaming, spam, etc. I know we've considered it in the past and always came to the same solution; it's not worth it for most of our users.
