I looked around, but didn't see this as a suggestion; have you guys (translate "you guys" to read "whoever's in charge of the trader rating program") thought about allowing the option to place comments on the trader ratings that people have left for you?

just as an example; take my feedback. i have two negative ratings; first, robertk, who left a negative feedback saying he never got the item he payed for... well, the next day, his item arrived. i'd like to be able to mention that to people looking at my rating. and the second negative feedback: an item i sent in poor condition (poor but NOTED FOR), was worsened by UPS. preexisting cracks were enlarged, and so forth. the recipient didn't care to discuss the issue with me, but rather simply left a quite stinging negative feedback. i'd like to be able to mention my side of the story.

maybe this has been thought about, maybe not, maybe it would be too difficult to impliment... but i thought i'd throw my .02 cents in towards what i think might be a good idea.

seems like a good idea. ebay has something very similar, which I read very carefully to understand how the person responded to the complaint.

 

IMO - the trader rating is just a starting point. The fact that you have 2 positives (both from people with positive ratings, one of whom is +26 with 0 negatives) would offset the two negatives, at least in my mind.

It would be nice if the person could change it though.

 

We (the moderators) have the option to delete it if thats the case. Just shoot us a PM, and we'll take care of it.
