Problems with EV1Servers.net?
I'm just curious if some of the reason for the switch in servers is to get away from EV1Servers.net. I never used them (run my own servers in colo facilities) but I've heard they are pretty good service-wise and even the president is very involved with the customer base online.
Anyway, I know they had a huge publicity problem earlier this year when they were discovered to be one of the companies funding Microsoft/SCO's battle against Linux and all the associated crap with that. I also know that many in the geek community were planning to migrate from EV1 as soon as they could for that. Does that have anything to do with the reasons for this migration?
Anyway, just curious... And for the bulk of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, it's a geek thing that I don't want to delve much into simply because it'd be tough not to sound like a rant.
