Just for the record, I enjoy the moderation that goes on here. Things get moved to where they should be and this is a good thing. I would like to suggest one thing though. The classifications of members is based on the number of posts. Is this correct? I feel it should be based on join date as some "newbies" search for the answers and do find what they are looking for without ever having to ask a question that has been repeated in other posts.

 

well i myself love the ranking system, i worked hard to get my rank and i love it. welcome to the boards. and i cant complain about the moderation, its as good as it gets.

 

If that is implemented, the majority of the 18500+ members will be "Evolving" or "Evolved." That wouldn't seem fair to the other "Evolving" or "Evolved" members who have posted a fair amount of posts to get to where they are now. The reason for the classification system is the amount you contribute to the site. If you stay dormant and lay back, you are contributing nothing whatsoever. There is nothing wrong with the classification system and for that reason, I, personally, CANNOT see it changing.

i agree. it got bad for a little while with all the flaming, but some people left, and others calmed down, and now it's about the cars again, which is the way it's supposed to be. Ive been enjoying the site a lot more lately also.
