Hey, sorry if this has been mentioned before. Unless I am missing something, there seems to be no way to search for a phrase...i.e. "I have the first Evo". If I were to search for that phrase, it would return every thread with the any of those words in any order. This forum is becoming so big, with so many posts, that it is impossible to find what you want.

Furthermore, when a search brings up several pages of results, lets say 120, there is no way to go to the last page or go to a decade of pages. You have to go through each page one by one starting with the first. It's no wonder that so many people post questions that have already been asked, because they cannot find them in a search.

Again, sorry if this has been mentioned/asked. If I am doing something wrong, and this is a common problem, maybe a "sticky" thread should be added.

Thanks

Try refining your searches:

Select which forum you want to see results from, should lessen the reading.

Yeah that helps, but in some cases I'm still seeing hundreds of pages of posts. According to the stats, there are 1,107,102 posts. What will that number be like in a year, in two years? I've been a member since October of last year and I only have 28 or so posts. I would use this soooooo much more if I could ever find anything without hundreds of results.

Basically I'm just wondering, is it possible to refine the search engine to seek exact phrases? Something like any major search engine does...google, yahoo, etc. Would it cost too much to higher Google to operate your searching for you?

Thanks
