i used to do alot of bussiness with them, it used tobe a great place to buy/ get work done. untill he got greedy, and didnt care about racing anymore. just money . he can show a good face when ur new, but if you ask anybody that has know him for more than 6 months, they can paint a diffrent story. he has gone throw soo many emplees up there, and there is a rreason for that.......... Alamo is bad news

If you are going to bag a vendor on an open forum you should have a bit more than that. What, in particular, did he screw you on? Bad service, bad pricing, not keeping his word on timing? What? Does he treat his employees bad?

I haven't done any business with Alamo mainly because I do what I can myself and plus they are kind of far from me. From what I have heard though, and this is just what I have HEARD, is that it seems to be an over promise/under delive kind of thing and I also HEARD, which may not be true, regarding their dyno, that it is two 2WD dynos put together and the rollers stop at different times and it has eaten center diffs. This might not be true, I heard it through the grapevine so take it for what it's worth. Brice has always been helpful when I have called him. That's really all I got on it.

well i've been working with alamo for some time now, well over six months. brice always seems to go out of his way to help me out, and i truly appreciate it. people are allowed to have opinions. sure alamo is far away but what other local shops have an evo.

Different Strokes for different folks I always say....I've been a customer of Alamo's for a very long time, well maybe not a very long time but for 8 yrs. They've worked on all of my cars since then which have been two VW Golfs, a 94 and 2000 one being turboed which until Kenny's shop Kentech opened finding local aftermarket parts for earlier vw's was difficult because everyone else was into the honda scene at that time. Never had any problems with either car. They did tons of work on my civic when I had it and even referred me to other shops like Jo-Tech when it came to big jobs like my engine swap because they basically knew that those guys had the most positive feed back in the area for jobs like that again at that time. They've currently done all of the work on my Evo and I've been pleasantly happy with the results. To me their customer service has been top notch as well as their pricing. Plus their work has been proven in my opinion due to the fact that people come from all over the place to have these guys work on their cars, all the cars that have been featured in various magazines past and present, and so far the way my car has been running. Trust me, if they do something that causes my car to explode or if they simply just **** me off due to bad customer service or shady dealings I'll do my best to let everybody on here know.
