1st Annual LoneStar Evo ShootOut 2005

we have been planning this for almost a month and due to the increasing demand for an event like this we are going to go ahead and announce it. the 2005 lonestar evo shootout will encompass several different events for evo owners to compete in. events included will be:

-dragstrip
-racing a coned course
-dyno shootout
-best of show
-2005 evo "bling" award

this shootout is open to anyone who wants to compete, you can participate in all events or just one. the shootout will be held in april and complete details will be available by the end of january so that everyone will have time to plan. if you have any questions or suggestions fell free to email me at jason@evotexas.org

money and prizes will be rewarded so get your game face on and make this an event we can have year after year!!

I would like to add that this event is going to be the biggest Evolution event in Texas yet. We had such a great time and turnout at our Dyno event in September that Jason and I decided to put together something with more.

We want to see who the baddest EVO is in the South Central United States and for the travelers out there, the baddest EVO that shows. You don't have to be a Texas resident to participate, but you do have to be able to get your EVO to Texas.

If you have a stock EVO, do not be afraid to participate! There will be a class for you!

I would also like to add that we have lined up and are still lining up tuners and vendors as sponsors for this event. There will be nice prizes for winners and nice takeaways for participants.

And finally, as MANY of you already know, even if you don't participate, it is always worthwhile to attend an NTEC event. After each day always brings an evening of fun.

So mark your calendars for April and get your EVOs waxed this winter. You have something to prove.

I can't wait. The only down side is that I'll have to starve myself to save enough money to complete all the mods I have planned between then and now.

Do you think my future bride would be upset if I postpone our marriage?

Dallas, Texas. In the middle of our region. We like the Okies to come down too and their drive is about the same as the drive from Houston.

Jason, Cody, Caleb I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. With your support and encouragement, I'm telling Holly she just has to wait another year. I couldn't have done it without you guys.
