Well yes that is right he bought the old Yahoo indy car. Here is my question. He want to take it out on a road course but where? I know he will need to get certified but where? He is from Dallas. Thank in advance.

MSR? i doubt you even need to be certified to simply drive it around the course. the only rules that apply are you pay to play, and must wear a helmet and fire suit there i believe.... i'm sure the car already passes the most difficult safety standards imaginable, so any place where you can take a street car on a closed private course will let an indy car drive i'm sure.

Yahoo eh? I believe thats an old IRL car, meaning a road course might be difficult. IRL (up until the 05 season) has always run on just ovals. That would mean the car is set up to turn left real well, and not so well to the right. Id assume the aero package, weight balance, tire stagger, and other issues would need to be changed before the car was capable of road course duty, if at all. Cool toy though.
