Need brakes...

Anyone have any suggestions on replacement brake pads? I would appreciate suggestions on vendors as well.

Thanks for all the help.

More brake pad info than you'll ever want can be found in the Tires / Wheels / Brakes / Suspension section.

I use the Ferodo DS2500 pads. They've worked fine for me on the track and on the street. And a full set costs about 60% of what a set of OEM pads costs from the dealer.

I'm on my second set of fronts, and have had no major squealing problems. Just an occassional squeak when stopping at very low speed with light pressure, like maybe when rolling up to an ATM.

I've purchased pads from both Vivid Racing (twice) and Raceshopper.com (once). The service was pretty good from both, though one time Vivid messed-up my shipping address, which delayed the shipment.

I also have the pads installed by my local Brake Check rather than doing it myself. Since I supply the pads and don't have the rotors turned, they charge me a fairly reasonable amount.
