well, just got back from the track day! it was a perfect day for it, hardly a cloud in the sky. there were 3 of us evo crew representing, and there were about 6-7 subis there. i am very disapointed in the rest of you NTEC people who didn't show. anyway the good news is other then the crazy fast instructors, i think us evos represented well i got video of me pushing an STI past his limits to where he wipes right in front of me, i also have video of the same thing happening to a mach1 mustang two laps later. the coolest thing, there wasa noble there, and i should have video of me passing it never thought that would happen!! there will be some sweet pictures of all three of us evos right in a row from the photographer that was there, and i will post of some of this video once i have a moment to upload it.

props to jon who i think had the quickest laps of all there (aside from the instructors of course....). i had a hard time keeping up with you when we were going at it, but that was by far the best session i have ever had! two evos battling it out without an STI in sight!

 

Yup, we showed those STi's a thing or two. Suby guys are a great crowd, it was alot of fun having them out there. Kevin I'd have to agree that was the best DE I've been too. We should have lined up like we did those last sessions earlier. Let me know the next event you go to and I'll try my best to make it. Oh and to those who didn't go you really missed out on a great experience. Hopefully next time we can come in larger numbers.

Glad y'all had fun! MSR is a great track. If I lived up there I'd almost certainly get a membership.

What kind of times did y'all run? (I assume this was counter-clockwise?)

Any of y'all signed up for the May event at TWS? My unofficial count is that there will be 6 Evos. And there's a Corvette club coming that same weekend. Should be fun.

I wish I could have gone, but I have only been at my job for a month and cant get a day off yet. Oh well. I amd down definatly for the TWS weekend.

Thanks for coming out! I had a blast watching you on the track. The EVOs did do quite well. I will try to be out on the track more next time. I do think EVOs have a better track suspension set up. I love them both ans if I had the cash would have the Pantera, Noble, EVO, and my WRX wagon at the house. I have driven an MR on the track and it was a very fun and capable car!

That was Nick S. Pantera. I had to drive the STI that was loaned to me. Tough job.

 

As soon as something is on a weekend and I have no race somewhere else, I'll be there. Hey Kevin, do you have that tsunami footage edited yet? I haven't seen it....

 

no tsunami footage yet i have been just to busy to sift through the 8 or so hours of driving video to put anything together. plus when 95% of the footage is honestly boring to watch, it only makes it worse...
