Going to the Houston Auto Show today to see the Evo. I will hopefully take some decent pictures but don't know if I will post any as there have been a plethora posted already. Don't really know why I started to post but I have just been so excited (like a kid in a candy store) since I found out that the Evo would be here in Houston that I had to let it out.

Also for any other Houston Lancers there will be another AutoX event on the 2 of February at the Gulf Greyhound Park. I plan on entering it with my wife's Lancer. I will be running in the morning in the STU class. I will probably suck at it as it is my first time, nothing like being a virgin all over again.

Should be a blast though.

 

Just returned from the show, not bad. But I expect they would focus more on the EVO VIII than that TFATF2 EVO VII . Anyhow, I don't think Mitsu did a good job with their booth....At least show me an WRC model....

Other surprise including a WRC impreza in show...an RX-8...

And I also learned that there is an indoor Kart racing place in town....

 

Was definitely disappointed that they only had the one Evo there up on the stand. Would have been nice to have one that we could have crawled around in and over. The WRC STi was very nice. Still loving the Evo though for price and sooner availability.
