Need an old Advan with some tread left
Something weird happened last Friday on LBJ / 635 Freeway in Dallas at about 9.45am. I was one lane over and behind a Semi truck and all of a sudden I saw a long metal strip fly through the air and then felt a jolt on the right side of my car. As luck would have it the metal did not go through the windscreen, or I would not be writing this today.
But, it did hit the right rear wheel. The Enkei got a ¼ inch hole on the outer lip and the Advan a gash right through the tire carcass.
I need to buy 4 new tires in another couple of months, but to tie my over until then I was hoping to get one old Advan from someone here in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. If you are in the process of buying new tires or have an old Advan lying around and is willing to sell it, could you please PM me?
