Whats up guys? My fiance' and I plan on flying out June 16-26 to San Antonio, Houton, and Austin. I have been reading up on your threads and I am pretty sure there is nothing planned for you guys. I was hoping to meet some of you guys when we come out. Does anyone have any plans for around that time. I am not taking the evo but I would like to see some of your cars down there.

Well I booked my flight tonight. I will be arriving in San Antonio on the 16th by 2:00p.m. and staying all the way through the 26th. I hope to run into some of you guys!

Check out the San Antonio/Austin meet tread. We will be having a meeting around that time. Some people also meet locally on Thursday and Friday nights. .

Mangook, I gotta give you a fair warning. The folks here are nice, and the food here rocks. I grew up in West Palm, and I moved out here in '03. I haven't regretted it since. San Antonio is nice

Thanks for your reply. My fiance's has a lot of family scattered around Texas so we will be visiting them. I have lived here in West Palm for almost 4 years now. It is definetly nice. The only thing i see is Texas is a lot cheaper to live but the property tax is a lot higher. I bought a 2 bedroom 1 bath condo for $129,000 down here. In texas in a lot of places that I have been looking I can get a decent sized house for 130-150k. I dont understand why real-estate is so much cheaper out in texas.

Chris, I found a 3/2/2 in Bedford(DFW metro) for less than $120k. That's 2100+ sq. ft. My sister bought a house in Lake Clarke Shores(off of Forest Hill Blvd up in PBC) for $295k. 1700 sq. ft. 3/2/2. The real estate in Florida is astronomical. It's almost as bad as California(getting there quickly too, I might add). Real estate is ridiculous in Florida because everyone wants to move there, it seems.
I guess I just needed a change, and the folks out here in Texas sure are a lot nicer than in most parts of the country.
