We'll probably schedule a meet at cheddars sometime next week. Any input on what time and day we should meet on? Trying to get a lot of guys to show up so therefore we gotta fit to everyone's schedule. I'm going to make some calls soon.

 

A weekend would be best, methinks. If it's during the week, then the evening (6:00 - 9:00) works best for me. Not available Friday (leaving town Friday to go to No Problem).

And no waiting 30 minutes for people to show up like last time! That sucked.

 

I am for a weekend meet, but weekdays are fine, just on Monday, Tuesday, or Friday. Wed, and thur are bad for me.

Excuse my ignorance, but what food do they serve? I think I've been there before (off of Westheimer near the cinema?)..... I might roll out there after work seeing as I work closer to there than I live.

 

They have a weird variety of tasty sustenance.

Last time Mario had a mountain of chicken fingers and a double side of fries, while the person sitting next to him (me) had blackened chicken and shrimp with a pineapple pico de gallo sauce, sweet corn, and baby carrots. Mmmm.....

I always get the monte cristo, it's like a ham and cheese sandwhich but has a baked outside and topped off with fries and powdered sugar. Paul always gets chicken tenders.

 

Just FYI, Cheddar's is located on the southwest corner of Westpark and Beltway 8. And remember guys/gals, it is at 8PM and not 9 or 10.

Because they have one of the cleanest kitchen I've seen of the many restaurants I've been to. Plus you get a bunch of food for not a lot of $$$.

 

There are only so many meets people can go to.

Most (all?) of these guys are in the EvoSpeed club and already have a history of getting together at Cheddar's. They've also got a Westheimer meet already established. Several of the guys (the cooler ones ) are a little older, and some have wives and kids and stuff.

If you really want to meet some guys you oughta come on out!
