*****Warning***** BAD BODY SHOP!!
APOLLO PAINT AND BODY
This all started about 2 months ago when my soon to be wife and I where driving in Austin and someone stuck her car (2001 Mazda Tribute). Me being somewhat new to Austin and not knowing what body shop to take it to she got other references and took it to APOLLO PAINT & BODY. Well after about 2 months of them having her car and us having to get a rental$$$. They told us that the insurance Co. has not sent the Check to them so we cannot have the car. We had paid the deductible ($250.00). The car was at the lot for about two weeks complete before we could get it back due to the insurance. Then they called and hassled her at work every day about the insurance money which she had no control over. Then they finely received the insurance money and called to tell us we could come get the car. We pulled out of the shop and drove home not far from the shop and noted that the car was shaking very bad and then took the car back to them. They had it for another week trying to fix the problem. Went back to pick up the car drove it off and went to San Antonio. Got to San Marcos and noted at about 75 MPH the same thing shaking in the front end. Well we made it to SA and started looking at the paint job. I think a monkey could have done a better job. Looks as if they did not even try to do any prep work to the front bumper. Just shoot the paint. There were pit holes all over. The service was the worst as well. They where rude on the phone and all they could say is where is our money. Went to the shop in uniform " oh we are so sorry about the car and we will get it fixed". Well still not fixed. Just wanted to let everyone now the bad experience we had. The only good thing they did is giving us a loner car for the last week sense it was their screw up and all.

call your insurance adjuster and tell them the body shop did not fix the car to a satisfactory, safe, or OEM standards and that the body shop must still fix the car as you paid your deductible and the car must be fixed, The insurance company should get a hold of the shop and/or local authorities to get problem fixed. Hopefully.
