We're all above sea-level. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I told my wife about the turd in the litterbox and she said, "how mature are those guys?" I replied, "they're mature but also funny." Then she told me if I ever did that I'd be sleeping on the couch. Damn, I wish I had a cat...

So the storm is coming.

Today we started the entire shutdown of the plant I work at. We currently produce polyethylene, and polypropylene, and make high density forms of both. I will be heading to Dallas sometime on Thursday and will sadly be leaving the evo in the garage at home. Oh well, maybe Rita will take the evo so I can get that M3 I always wanted.

Working on my 16th hour now, and I am getting so bored. Just wanted to share with everyone.

And btw, I wouldn't get an m3, but I would get another evo. Hopefully a new MR or evo 9. Time will tell.

Ben, are your parents going to leave?

They haven't decided yet as of yesterday... I don't think it will be too bad in our neighborhood, but those by the coast are going to get it pretty bad. Lock up and hope for the best. It would take alot of water to make it all the way up to your garage and into the Blue beast. She'll be alright.

I bought a brand new '05 last week and I live on the border between Pearland and Friendswood. I'm thinking this could be the shortest period of time I ever own a car! We'll probably be heading into the sunset in the Focus and leaving Blacky here to brave the storm.

Best of luck man.

I thought this was interesting... Shows what a 22ft storm surge would look like in Houston.

What the HELL take your Evo's and leave the beaters to fend for themselves! I will seriously cry if your Evolutions get taken out all in the name of saving some gas Seriously though, to all of those on or around the coast that know me, I've got two couches and plenty of floor room for some sleeping bags so Casa de Yosh has it's doors open to you. Used to live in Dickinson as a kid. Bush Sr. almost declared that place a natural disaster area so I know what it's like to be in the path of one of these big bastards.

edit: punctuation

Mandatory evacuation has been issued here and goes into effect at noon tomorrow. They have also declared a state of emergency. I will be travelling with a wife, child and 2 cats along with everything I can fit into the car that is most precious to me. I want to fly under the radar while travelling and not draw unnecessary attention to myself, so the Focus fits the bill. Blacky hasn't even turned 400 miles yet . I suppose I could take both cars but, after what happened in NOLA, I want to be with my family and ensure their safety.

Yeah the whole "under the radar" thing does make sense. Just heard all hotels in San Antonio are booked as of now. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help man. Shoot me a pm if you need my number or anything, just got my phone back up and running after a little mishap with a MacDonalds cup and condensation
