Watch your *** Robert. Border towns can be pretty rough. I lived in San Diego most of my life and I got in some serious trouble down in TJ. Not sure if the border towns are as rough here, but after that experience I would never go to Mexico again. If you are going to go make sure you bring a few friends.

Dang, I've covered a lot of Texas, but I've never been along the border between Del Rio and Laredo.

But now that I know there's a downscale BYOB club there, I have a reason to go. Those are the best ones.

Be careful if you do go across to Mexico. Border crime has been high for quite a while, especially along that stretch around Laredo. Drug cartel stuff.

I wouldn't call Eagle Pass "extreme south". It's a big freakin' state.

after a 12 hour straight drive from north east oklahoma... I consitter it extreme south
