Exclamation Dallas people watch out!!!!

Dallas cops have been cracking down on people speeding down Northwest Hwy. going west towards Stemmons. There are usually 1-2 motorcycle cops hiding on the shoulder of NW Hwy. nailing people with radar as they come over the hill. Today there was a Z28 pursuit car on the 183/428 spur going towards Texas Stadium. Just wanted to let you guys know what I see out my office window almost daily.

Yes...have seen this quite a few times on that little bridge. He would park his car down beside the bridge and stand on the shoulder with a battery powered radar gun. Then he waives 'em in and stomps over to the car.

The funny thing is the first time I saw it he had left the radar on in his car at the bottom. So the V1 was going crazy...and then an occasional burst from a second unit. So it was pretty easy to know the po po would be there.

But I have seen a few people pass me right there and get hit Blind speeding never pays...

Thanks for the headsup, I might be by there later today.

On average, for those without detectors, how much do you speed? I'm rarely doing over 10. %90 of the time I'm doing 5 over.

Bushburning...

northwest highway runs east/west and is 5-6 roads south of 635/LBJ. A portion of NW Hwy is also called Loop 12. Where they are talking about is over by 183. Kind of right before 35.

75 (central) runs northsouth from downtown up through richardson/plano/allen. 75 and 635(LBJ) is where that huge new interchange is (the high 5) that just opened.
