going for day cruise in north austin

hey to anyone in the austin area, a friend and i are riding out to some area around lake travis, limecreek road i think, i'm from houston originally so not too familiar with this area yet, i'm sure if any of you are from around that area you'll know what i'm talking about, but it's supposed to be a bad *** road for cruising on and such, if anyone is out there today we should be there by around 2 pm or so, look for a silver evo and silver wrx, i'm really anxious to talk to other owners in person as i've yet to see any others around yet. kind of a shot in the dark as far as chances of anyone coming out but it's just an incredible day for driving, Iodine don't you live out towards that direction?

Shhh... speak softly about Lime Creek Ever since someone leaked word about the road onto TexasRacingScene, the cops have really been keeping their eyes on it.

I drove Lime Creek once before a little over 2 years ago when I was breaking in my new Subaru. Unfortuantely it was dark and I was in a new car, so I didn't push very hard at all. Since then I never re-drove it, and I live right down the street. I need to get the Evo out there and give it another try.

Another okay road is Bullick Hollow Rd. If you take 2222 west towards 620 and keep going straight at light at 620 (where the HEB is) it turns into Bullick Hollow. It's kind of short, but nice. And it's a nice short-cut for me on my drive home. Plus you can get to Lime Creek from it by taking a left when it dead-ends into Volente Rd. I think Volente Rd. then dead-ends into Lime Creek Rd. A right should take you to 1431 and a left should take you through the twisties. That is, if my mapreading skills and memory serve me correctly.
