Dudes,

Being in Texas , how often are u guys waxing your car. I've had my evo since June and have not waxed it yet....except for the wax they put on at the car wash...

 

I try to wax mine 3-4 times a year. That might be considered excessive though I'm unsure.

 

car wash wax is a nono. ive had mine for a few months and its in need of a buff and wax..... im just to lazy to do it.

I wax mine like every other month, but mine also sits outside in the texas sun for hours while I am at work the hole time being sprayed with dust and crap. So Ithink it realy depends on the conditons it goes through. I basically run my hand against it and if it squeeks alot and my hand doesnt glide across it i wax it

had mine 2 years. Cf wing has almost no fade. been using Meguiars NXT about 4-6 times per year. Has practically sat in the sun, rain, dust....everything outside it's entire life. I waxed it the day after I got it and have been caring for her ever since. It IS worth it to wax.

 

wax mine every week, except this week, this week was a lucky one, it got wax twice.

 

I wax mine every two to three weeks. I use the three step process (cleaner, polish & wax) every other time. I also use Meguirs Kwick Detailer everytime I wash which is AT LEAST once a week. I like it shiney!

I have been trying to save my second wing with Meguiar's Mist and Wipe.
Not going to happen, its showing signs of turning and I'm sure in a month it'll be gone.
I have seen the miracle of Miguirars NXT myself and will be throwing everything else away.
