well it looks like I'm not going to make it anyway. Can't figure out what's going on with my idle, but the timing is over +30 at idle. I've check all vacuum hoses, PVC hose, messed with the Idle screw a little. but nothing helps. It's either electrical or a thermastat. Either way I'm screwed. Anyone know of a good shop, I really don't want to take it to the dealer.

dude i spent all day trying to figure it out. Kevin is on the way over to switch out the MAF and see if its the problem. Sounds like there might be a leak near the manifold, but i can't find it. Besides its going to rain, then we can go next weekend. LOL

On another note, its not the high idle that bothers me its the advanced timing.

weather supposed to be good in the afternoon. i went out and bought a new camera just for this...and I wasn't going to buy one for another 2 weeks.

no, want to come over and take a look. The last thing I'm trying is pulling the spark plugs, and give them a look.

if you want to drive your car over here i will check it out...your spark plugs won't advance your timing like that...put it on the stock map and work from there

Lol i can't drive it. it only advances the timing when the a/c is off. Have no clue whats going on.

then drive with no ac....roll down your windows you'll be ok.
