I'm trying to get my intercooler anodized matte black cuz the polished look just doesn't flow with my car. As an added bonus anodizing will hard the surface material and prevent corrosion, but mostly its just for bling in my case.

Any info would be appreciated.

I found a pretty honest anodizer on St. Elmo in south austin, but the guy advised against anodizing because it will fade with the heat coming off the hotside of the intercooler.

Soooo, screw that, now I'm looking for a powdercoater. Anyone?

Shaheen, Just paint it. I used paint that is designed to radiate heat and then did a few thin layers of clear.

Cool, do you happen to know what brand or type of paint you used? What about the clear?

Thanks Robert.

Shaheen, I'll let you know for sure later this week. I am in Mexico until Thursday or Friday. IIRC, the paint was for radiators, but I don't know the brand. The clear was just a standard automotive clear. I think I used Duplicolor.
